Powdersville is a rapidly growing community in the northern corner of
Anderson County, bordering Pickens and Greenville counties. For the year 2000, Powdersville was
defined as a Census Designated Place (CDP) east of Brushy Creek from I-85 out to the Pickens
county line and up to the Greenville county line. Statistics were compiled as
